Executive Vice President
& Head of West Coast
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
BerlinRosen, a leading national consulting and strategic communications firm, is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead our growing presence on the West Coast, and help our clients meet a wide range of communications and campaign goals in an ever changing media environment. You will work directly with the Managing Director of the Commercial division and act as a member of the Leadership team, helping to grow the business and set the direction of the firm.

This role is a rare opportunity to play a keystone senior leadership role in a dynamic and growing firm, by expanding a public relations practice that is already serving a diverse set of high-profile, industry-leading clients. BerlinRosen’s client base includes Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, Dolby, Audible, Bloomberg Media, Apollo, and dozens of start-ups and mid-size companies.
As the new EVP & Head of West Coast, you will be the practice lead responsible for driving new business in technology and adjacent industries on the West Coast, and maintaining and growing the P&L for your practice area. In addition to driving growth in, and depth of, client partnerships, you will use your team management skills to build a strong and diverse team of talented comms professionals. As EVP you will play a direct role in the strategic growth of BerlinRosen as you take your career to the next level.
This role requires 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications, public relations, and/or campaigns in technology, startups, media & entertainment, politics, or some combination thereof. This role can be based in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle; other locations possible.

A track record of communications wins.
Personal experience with the agency business model, including strong client management experience.
A track record of business development, sales, and client development, and/or a deep network to leverage for business development and partnerships.
An excitement to serve a diverse set of clients, and the hunger to build a dynamic book of business.

Experience building and leading talented teams and a personal commitment to effective management.
